Groups protest Quinn cuts to addiction treatment
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — Groups that treat people addicted to drugs and alcohol are protesting sudden, dramatic cuts by Gov. Pat Quinn. The Illinois Department of Human Services has informed addiction services that their state funds will end March 15.
